Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 13

I love this passage, because sometimes when I have doubts about the strength and tenacity of my relationship with F_, I read it and it reminds me that everything will turn out alright. That a lot of things are too petty to fight over or to brood over, that we should always forgive and forget. That the key to trust is "rejoicing in the truth" (i.e. not lying to each other, or hiding stuff) It reminds me that even though sometimes F_ may piss me off, or make me feel disappointed or sad, I'm not perfect either, and love is all about being generous, and give-and-take. After reading these verses, I feel Loved. By God, by my family, and by F_.
