Case Write-up 2
a.k.a.
"Bulging Beagle, Burning Butt"
Presenting Complaint : FBC member, Mr. F_, admitted to a half day history of watery diarrhoea, pain on passing motion, as well as a slight fever.
History of Presenting Complaint : Yesterday (9/8) Mr. F_ was offered 3 delicious steaming boxes of lemak and promptly finished them, without saving any for his beloved gf. After that, he started posting blog entries about how good the lemak was. Halfway through typing, he felt a slight stomachache and went to relieve his bowels, and fell asleep soon after. This morning, despite repeated wake-up calls from his poor gf, Mr. F_ was unable to pick up the phone, as it was at the end of the bed and Mr. F_ was too bloated to do a sit up and reach it. His calf was also hurting from repeated attempts at jogging, so he was unable to perform his usual "toe-speaker phone-button" manoevure. However, despite his profound lardiness, Mr. F_ was forced to move his bulk out of the bed as he felt a sudden urgency to pass motion. Repeatedly, despite his obvious dislike of locomotion, Mr. F_ was forced to get out of bed and run to the toilet. This occured at least 5 times.
Medical History : Already a certified Fat Beagle, Mr. F_ suffers from obesity,and his BMI has increased from 25 to 31 as of yesterday. He also suffers from Lemak Addiction and coRprophagia Disease (LARD). In addition, he has a past admission of vasovagal syncope, being an exceptionally sensitive and emotional hound.
Social History : Mr. F_, being unwilling to share his food with other beagles, does not have much of a social history. He is unable to perform some ADL tasks such as getting out of bed, attending lectures, brushing his teeth, and colour-coordinating his clothes.
Physical Examination : Unremarkable. Ribs impalpable. Definite bulge on aerial inspection. Abdominal distension with hyperdynamic bowel sounds. Constant emission of flatulence.
