TODAY WAS GREAT!
At first I thought today was going to be really horrible cos when I woke up and called F, he was still asleep and refused to go for pharm lecture (again) but somehow I didn't have the heart to nag him so I went alone. After the lecture, which was pretty useless and ended early, he wanted to meet me at j8 at 12.30 so I went there to walk around. After an hour of aimless wandering, got bored and called him and went to pick him up from his house. F_ brought me his second packet of chinese nasi lemak to share, and we went to this hawker place next to j8 and while I ate he said he was going off to buy hbp, so I waited there for 20minutes and finally he came back. I thought he was getting me flowers or sthg, so I was quite disappointed when he said he got wall hooks and kicked up a fuss out of sheer disappointment. We went to his house so he could change to berms but I did not peek into this bag cos 1) he was too fast and 2) I was too lazy to get out of the car.
Finally, when he got down, he tired of my incessant whining and showed me his bag, and Lo and Behold, it was " The Ultimate Book of Horse and Rider"
Which was a very nice book we saw two weeks ago in j8 popular while waiting for a movie to start. I can't believe he remembered! Even I forgot about the book cos I thought it was beyond my budget, but F_ remembered! He's the sweetest! I really feel so touched cos it's really so sweet of him to remember that I like it and to get it for me when even I had forgotton about the book! WowWOWOW!!!
Next, F_ brought me to ECP cos he wanted to fly a kite. There were parking wardens, which we luckily saw before we left the car so we went to another carpark which used cashcard payment, and the parking was quite cheap in the end (3 bucks) and we didn't need to worry about putting enough coupons, so that was great. We rented bikes there, they were mountain bikes with gears and all that and we paid 12 bucks for two of us, for one hour, but in the end we rode for 2.5 hrs and they didn't even charge us the extra! Wow! So as F_ calculated we essentially rented the bikes for 2.40 per hr. My legs are aching now but I'm really happy! We had a lot of fun chasing each other around and we went to one end of ECP, the side which has the golf club. It was really very quiet and peaceful near that area, and I really enjoyed the open and empty track there. We also went to the jetty where a lot of people were fishing, and we sat down and looked at the big ships and enjoyed the cool sea breeze.
Today was simply perfect, God was really looking out for us today cos the weather was great! Even though it rained so heavily in the morning that I had to run for an umbrella in my boot when I reached school, but by the time we were at ECP there was no rain, yet it was not hot either, just nice and cloudy so it was really great for cycling. It only started raining again just exactly when we finished our dinner and it was time to go home.
While cycling, F_ stopped to get us some nice green ice-cream, and we also stopped halfway to play on the beach. I love playing on the beach, haven't actually got to play on the beach for so long, and F_ and I have never played on a beach before, so it was really fun and romantic. I picked him 5 shells, they're very pretty and cute, and F_ being the cutest puppy that he is, immediately put them in his shirt pocket. Hope he doesn't forget to take them out when he washes his shirt. He also let me ride bear-back for a short while, and his foot prints became a lot deeper when he was carrying me. Heh. I also rolled up my jeans so I could wade out into the sea. Standing there, looking into the horizon, knowing that F_ was with me and feeling the tide washing up against my legs, I felt as if God was telling me that everything is going to be ok. I felt such a wonderful sensation of peace and happiness, it was in such contrast to the stress and unhappiness I had been experiencing since the start of posting. I knew then that no matter how hard things became sometimes, God would always be with me, taking care of me, and he wouldn't ever let my worries bear fruit. And also that He would never ever take F_ away from me, and that I had nothing to worry about. And that's when I realised that life is great!
After we returned our bikes to the kiosk with no extra overtime charge (wow!), we went to eat at food village. We ate sooo much that we could hardly walk after that! (Partly due to the cycling as well) We had 1) 20 sticks of satay 2)oyster omelette 3)stingray 4)chinese rojak. There was so much food that we had to take away half of the chinese rojak! I gave it to my parents just now when they came back from the airport.
Anyway, today was just the bestest! Tomorrow I have this home visit thing for cofm, but even the thought of that can't get me down, cos I realise now that I'm so happy, and nobody can take away this happiness from me! And most importantly, I have nothing to worry about anymore, all the stressful stuff have gone away so quickly, I can just throw away my worry/prayer list now cos it's now invalid! All my prayers have been fulfilled in just 3 short days and I feel so happy and relaxed and at peace now.
Wanna say thank you God for taking care of me and watching over me always, and taking all my cares away and answering my prayers faithfully, and thank you F_ for being the wonderful, sweet, loving boyfriend that you truly are. I love you!
