Yeehaa! Country puzzle is finishing, can finish tonight if i'm hardworking (i.e. stay up till 2am) otherwise by noon tmr, after my last (hopefully) driving lesson. Which reminds me, my test is in two days' time. Freaking out now. Knocked down a pole today during my first attempt at parallel parking, the caffeine hadn't set in yet, but otherwise it was fine. I have Faith. Just make extra-strong tea Sat morn. Watched the replay of Real Madrid vs Man U last night, the Real goals were fantastic. Simply beautiful. Reminds me of Brazil in the world cup (the Figo one was strangely reminiscent of the Ronaldhinio free kick in England vs Brazil) Real (esp Zidane and Raul) have just won themselves a new fan (but not at the expense of Arsenal, of course, I still support them in all other competitions) Highlight of the day : Mom's Reward For Perfect Score *hint:Tiffany's* Besides that, on the very strong insistence (tears included) of my sis, went to Perlini's (despite lugging a bag full of books from orc library, where the humans look like orcs) and *ahem* persuaded her to get a pair of dangly-wangly earrings, which I am, of course, being the responsible older sister, safe-keeping for her. *grin* Also went to kino, met another of my gang, working part-time as a cashier there, grey uniform and all. Looked harrassed, her supervisor didn't even let her talk to me. Wandered off to the "Gift Ideas" section and found two whole shelves of tarot cards (Arthurian, LOTR, etc.) plus the voodoo kit that F_ gave me, contains a green spongy doll which certainly looks a lot like the intended victim (i.e. ugly and fat), pins and a hilarious guide book. F_ if you're reading this, I'll pass it to you when we go out again. Unfortunately that was the last kit on the shelf, so couldn't buy more and give her whole family an incurable itch (F's suggestion). Oh btw, Meteora ROCKS!!! Simply hooked onto the CD now. Too bad there're only 10 songs (the 13-second foreword isn't counted) which last an average of 2.5 mins each, clocking the CD at a miserable 45 mins. Is it just me or are songs and CDs getting shorter? No more value for money? Oh heck that's what Kazaa is for anyways...
