Haha. I'm so happy. Had sooooo much fun yesterday. Supposed to meet F_ at 11.30 at shaw centre/lido, gave myself half an hour's lag time but ended up taking only 15 mins (yes, including parking time) The parking lots at shaw centre are horrible!!! So squeezy and crowded, could barely get out of the car despite the extra parking manoeuveurs. Gonna park at taka in future. Watched JE with F_, the show is really spastic but it kept us roaring with laughter, so I say don't believe every review you read in Life. After that we went to the jap restaurant at taka, sat down at the table, flipped through the menu, then decided (upon his suggestion) to check out the sushi buffet at esplanade instead. Heh. After a nice lunch, in which F_ got even more drunk than the last time and couldn't walk straight after (thanks to our role-reversal in sake-drinking, seeing that I was to drive him home after and he valued his life) we crossed the bridge (despite the light drizzle) to say hello to the merlion(s). F_ says that the big one has some radar system which can determine the wind strength and alter the water jet accordingly. Hmmm. Dared him to go right down to the waterfront to prove his shoes really are waterproof, and because I wanted to do that myself but couldn't (wearing mom's expensive heels). His shoes are nice, hope they weren't ruined. *grin* After that we passed through the fullerton hotel, stopping to throw chocolate-coated-sunflower seeds (gave him a bottle to supplement his vitamin intake) into the carp pond, and he actually managed to stroke a carp, before one of the hotel staff came charging down (but not to throw us out thankfully). Took mrt back to somerset and went to spotlight for his room furnishings. We ended up with matching pillows which feel really really nice, being furry and carpety in texture. Very cute and huggable. Braved the rain (with the help of the plastic bags), bought an umbrella at centrepoint, but by the time we came out, the rain had slowed to a drizzle. Oh well. Went to heeren where he found THE poster, one of namie amuro in three different poses, then went up to 4th floor to take one of those "card" neoprints, which are rather expensive ( 8 bucks) but I liked the result, and it's currently in my wallet for frequent viewing pleasure. =) Finally drove him home, he gave me a cute pair of pink furry dice, (my sis jealously remarked that he must be gay to frequent shops which sell such stuff. twit.) my reward for passing the driving test, also a reminder that I only have 12 demerit points to spare (6+6). Haha. They were rather squashed though, methinks because he kept them in his pocket (?) Can't help playing with them when stopping at red lights. =) After giving him a joyride ( 90kmh along CTE, scared him a little i think :P) back to his place, finally unveiled the (autographed) country jigsaw prez in the boot, he was speechless for awhile, which was good because it means he really likes it (yeah!) After bidding him farewell, did a victory lap around his neighbourhood (ok I got a little lost) but found ri after a few minutes and sped home, as dad was getting impatient (he actually *gasp* spoke to F_ while I was driving) Bathed and drove aunts, bro, etc. to orchard (again) for dinner at shaslek. Unfortunately the movie was cancelled as sis had a test the next morning, but that was fine cos I was dead tired anyways, having had such an enjoyable and eventful day. Later F_ told me that he scored an awesome 96 percent in his test, despite the hangover, but sadly, might still be confined next saturday because he was late. Oh dear. Hope our planned visit to the 24-hr swenson's won't have to be postponed till the week after, we so rarely get to see each other. In other news, what would have been my first softball training with my new club has been cancelled due to heavy rain, though the rain has actually just stopped, but anyways the field will be muddy so I'm fine with that. man u and arsenal BOTH playing simultaneously tonight, really can't decide which one to watch cos man u is playing blackburn rovers which is a better team than boro, the team arsenal is playing. Hai. Tough decisions abound. Think I shall go hug my pillow now. =)
