Day started off on the wrong foot, got scolded by parents for being late for my first tennis lesson. That supposedly super-strong coffee from my parents' friends' house is a fake!!! Rather than keeping me awake all night, it made me sleep even better than usual ; slept at 11+ but still couldn't wake up at 8. What happened to chock-full-of-caffeine-goodness??? Their caffeine tolerance must be the pits. But then again, they did mention that coca cola keeps them awake, so... Bleaugh. Otherwise, tennis is fun! He taught me forehand, my swing was a little erratic at first, cos being a softballer I tend to flick my wrist when swinging, which is the worst habit possible in tennis. But after hitting 100+ balls I *think* it's better, though for some reason or other I can't help hitting the balls to the left of the court, rather than towards the instructor. Funny thing is, right after he complained about that, I hit one right at his face. Wow he sure has good ducking skills. Heh. *sigh* My best gal pal is going back to uk today. We were planning to go out since two weeks ago but somehow or other, last week's frenetic driving revision lessons left me so drained and tired that I couldn't bring myself to call her up, and finally when I can, she's going off. Ah well. Wonder if I could pop over to her place for 5 mins just to say goodbye. Dear Y_, I'll miss you, all the best for your exams, I'm sure you'll do well. And I promise we'll go out the next time you're back in singapore, ok? Feeling sleepy now but wanna take the car for a spin. Maybe will volunteer to fetch sibs from school...let the chauffeur have an extended lunch break...Ah heck I'll go sleep now.
