The chickens are SOOoooooo Cute!!! They're running around in the backyard now looking for worms, and seem to enjoy hanging around in the shade of the bamboo grove. I can actually spy on them from my bathroom. Heh. Went to uncle _'s house last night with bro and sis to pick them up, visited their three rottweilers (fierce brutes), their carp (like the big white 'un) and sat around with their three parrots trying to get them to say something coherent (they were rather sleepy tho, probably talking in their sleep) Their house is fascinating. On the way home, got sis to sit in the backseat holding on to the cage (for fear that feathers, food and birdshit would fall out and soil my beautiful car seats) Everytime we hit a hump, the chickens and my sister would cluck in protest and in unison (haha). So was forced to drive at 30kmh most of the time. Still, at the end of the ride, found the chickens squashed to one side of the cage with one of the adults sitting on the rest. Squished chickens. =P Our maids (much experienced in the art of chicken-rearing) identified 3 males (one adult-brown and the two black chicks) and 2 females (the other adult-brown and a brown chick) Yay! Uncle_ says they hatch new chicks every 2 months or so...Wow. Dad has been threatening to turn them into chicken soup, but that's another story...Ok on today's agenda is : 12.45pm lunch with mom at shanghai restaurant 2.15pm fetch bro from ri to moelc 2.30pm drive mom down to paragon to pick up stuff 3.30pm drop mom off at home, pick up dad and buy chicken feed from pet shop 4pm come home and terrorize chickens and fix piano player jigsaw. That jigsaw is taking ages. F_ told me last night that he's going field camp today. Wonder if he'll bring his hp along again. muahahaha. =)
